Comments: You could maybe call this The Big Hat since the dome was retrofitted |
onto an existing outdoor ballpark like a hat. It doesn’t help that it is a little off the beaten |
path locationwise. It is very hitter friendly and that is a big problem for a pitching staff |
that, even with the developeent of Hideaki Wakui, just lost Daisuke Matsuzaka to MLB |
and Fumiya Nishiguchi may be hitting the wall. That is exacerbated by a truly crap bullpen. |
They do have easily the most balanced offense in Japan, but it will really be forced to step |
up to compensate for the deteriorating situation on the hill. |
