Biography: Started playing baseball in second grade. Was a Taiyo Whales fan growing up, but his favorite player was Hanshin third sacker Masayuki Kakefu. Played Senior League ball in junior high. Played in one Koshien Tournament (spring 1995). Slugged 38 homers as a schoolboy. Drafted on the second round (1996). Got his nickname because of his inordinate amount of three run jacks. 24 of his 97 career roundtrippers  were with two on, eight of those coming in one season`. Biography: Started playing baseball in first grade in Little League. Played in Senior League in junior high. Played in four Koshien Tournaments, winning it all in the last one. Was team captain his senior year. Drafted on the first round (2002). Released by Chunichi at the end of the 2008 season and signed by Yakult. Morioka came into the league with some fanfare for his speed and defense especially, but with all star gold glovers Masahiro Araki and Hirokazu Ibata at the positions he plays and not wanting him to rot on the bench, he was stuck in the minors. Biography: Started playing baseball in fifth grade. Played in two Koshien Tournaments. Won a batting title and a steals crown in college his senior year and was selected to two collegiate Best Nine squads. Drafted on the fifth round (1993). Bobby Valentine, when he initially saw Morozumi, said he threw like a girl. Was beaten out for the steals title by Ichiro in 1995. Biography: Played in three Koshien Tournaments, winning it all in the second one (spring, summer 1952. summer 1953). Was team captain at Rikkyo while playing alongisde Tadashi Sugiura and Shigeo Nagashima. Sold to Hanshin. Selected to two all star teams (1960, 1965). Coached with Hankyu after retirement before becoming a baseball commentator for Mainichi Broadcasting. He later opened Moto and Aiko.
