Biography: Started playing in Boys League in fourth grade. Was his high school team's captain and cleanup hitter. Played in one Koshien Tournament (summer 1995). Drafted on the fifth round (1999). Released after the 2007 season. Was caught going way over the speed limit a couple of times in 2004 by roadside cameras and didn't show up for court, resulting in his arrest and a guilty verdict that earned him a six month suspended sentence as well as a fine and a two week suspension from the ballclub as well as a lot of public enmity and his career has basicallly fallen off the table from there. Is married to wife Kanako, a former cheerleader for Oji Seishi's team.
