Biography: Kansai Big Six University League batting champ (1962). Signed with Hanshin in spring, 1961. Caught a lot of grief from team management due to his predilection for  catching the ball one handed. Mostly batted fifth with Hanshin. Traded to the Taiheiyo Club Lions (1973). Selected to three all star teams (1963-1965). Became a batting coach with Seibu (1979-1981). Became a coach with Kintetsu (1982-1984). Went back to Hanshin as a batting coach (1988) before becoming the team's minor league manager (1989). Now working  as a baseball commentator for Sun Television and Sports Nippon.

Biography: Had trouble hitting breaking pitches in the minors and contemplated suicide as a result. Batted cleanup in 454 games AB 1307 H 374 HR 47 RBI 193 AVG .286. Homered off of Masaichi Kaneda to break his shutout string at 64.1 innings (5/27/1958). Also had two sayonara homers off of Kaneda during his career. Noticed that rookie Shigeo Nagashima hadn't touched first base on a homer into the leftfield seats at Korakuen Stadium and successfully made the appeal for the out (9/29/1958). Biography: Played in two Koshien Summer Baseball Tournaments (1933-1934). Signed with Osaka (11/15/1935). Hit second and played left in team's first regular season game. Clubbed first home run in Japanese pro history, an inside the park roundtripper against the Tokyo Senators that was his only homer of the year (5/4/1936 off of Akira Noguchi at Koshien Stadium). Served in Japanese Imperial Army in Mongolia (1939-1941) and in China (3/1943-12/1945). Invited by Sadayoshi Fujimoto to join Pacific. Had four doubles in a game to tie a Japan record (8/5/1951). Became a playing manager with Taiyo (1955) and then coached with them after retirement (1959-1961). Coached with Daimai (1962-1963). Managed Taiyo's  minor league team (1968-1969) and then coached with Hanshin (1970-1973) before leaving due to health problems. He then worked for a sporting goods manufacturer.

Biography: Son of Nishitetsu's Heisaburo Fujikura. Was his team's ace pitcher in high school, playing in one Koshien Tournament (1975). . Played in one Koshien Tournament (1975). Signed outside the draft (1979). Slugged a sayonara grand slam in the 11th innjing of the 1981 Junior All Star Game. Traded to Lotte. Won two Eastern League batting titles (1986-1987). Coached and scouted with Lotte after retiring at the end of the 1988 season and then became a university softball head coach.

Biography: Started playing baseball in fourth grade after moving to Japan. Was his team's pitching ace in college, going 34-9 for Meiji. Became an outfielder in 1948. Ripped seven homers as a pitcher in a season, a record (1950). Coached and managed in the minors for the Giants before managing in the industrial leagues. After that, was an L.A. correspondent for the Yomiuri Shimbun.
