Biography: His younger brother is pro soccer player Hokuto Nakamura. His parents had to go to court in order for them to use one of the characters for his first name since it wasn't in the official register of approved name kanji. They won and that character is now part of the register. Started playing baseball in second grade. Was converted from a catcher to a pitcher his junior year of high school. Played in two Koshien Tournaments (spring, summer 1993). Drafted on the fourth round (2000). Became the first man fresh out of the amateur ranks to throw a shutout in his first pro appearance in the Pacific League in 20 years. Traded to Yomiuri in June, 2004. Selected to one all star team (2002). Became a management consultant after retirement before playing with a club team. He would subsequently join the Brother Elephants of the CPBL, in 2006, but got drilled and was released in July after just two appearances. He currently works as Daisuke Motoki's manager. Drafted on the fourth round (2002.  Won a Western League ERA title (2007).Won an Wesstern League ERA title (2007). Also had a 20 inning scoreless streak in 2007. Traded to Nippon Ham after the 2007 season, but then had an elbow problem and was released by the Fighters at the conclusion of the 2008 campaign. Hanshin re-signed him for their taxi squad, but that elbow problem continued to dog him and he decided to retire following the end of the 2009 schedule. Threw in the high 80's with a sharp slider, but his inconsistent control and slowness to the plate hindered his career. Reference:  Wikipedia Japan

Biography: Started out playing baseball in third grade on a softball team his father coached. Played Boys League in junior high. Selected to Japan's national collegiate all star team his senior year. Racked up a wins crown, an MVP and two Best Nines at Kyushu Community College while accumulating 300 strikeouts. Went all the way in both ends of a league deciding doubleheader during the spring season of his senior year, going nine and 11 innings respectively with only a 45 minute break in between. His pitch count was 310. His velocity also increased markedly from when he was in high school. He garnered interest from several different teams, but Dragons scout Muneo Nakada told the other teams that he and Kenichi were related, so the opposition backed off. The truth is that Muneo and Kenichi are not related. Drafted on the second round (2004). Became the first man fresh out of the amateur ranks since Kenshin Kawakami in 1998 to begin the regular season in the starting rotation in 2005. At one point, had 13 straight winning decisions at Nagoya Dome. Fastball tops out at 95mph with a slider and forkball, but his command of his breaking pitches is inconsistent. Selected to one all star team (2007).  Official Blog   Reference:  Wikipedia Japan
