Biography: Started playing baseball in third grade. Was his high school team's ace. Became his college team's ace his junior year. Drafted on the second round (1995). Traded to Kintetsu during the 1999 offseason. Traded to Yokohama. Started on Opening Day, 2001. Became just the fourth man to beat all 12 different teams during his career (2005). Signed with Yomiuri as a free agent. Released by Yomiuri after he and the team couldn't get together on a new contract. Signed to a minor league deal by the Cubs, who then released him at the end of spring training, 2009. He was subsequently picked up by the SK Wyverns of the KBO.
